December 2013 Releases

By

Vanessa Di Gregorio

December is here! If you’re at all like me, the majority of your wish list has been (and, let’s be honest, still is) full of books. Apparently, working in publishing doesn’t change that. I even go so far as to share these book-filled wishlists with others. Forget sweaters and socks and pajamas – I need more books to make my house look like a dragon’s hoard*!

And, of course, December is yet another exciting month for us here at Pub Crawl, because one of our own is celebrating a debut! PC’s own Amie Kaufman and her co-author Megan Spooner have their swoony and badass sci-fi novel, THESE BROKEN STARS, coming out this month! YAY AMIE!

Now, on to the list of just some of the YA releases coming out before the year ends!

*but, you know, replace piles of gold with stacks of books haphazardly scattered across my floor, natch

My Christmas wishlist is full of so many books, I’m starting to think I should be adding new bookshelves on the list too!

Sporty Girl Books reviewed RACING SAVANNAH this week. Check it out! http://sportygirlbooks.blogspot.com/2013/12/book-review-racing-savannah-by-miranda.html

I’m looking forward to No Surrender Soldier by Christine Kohler! But I’ve added just about all these books on Goodreads. (I’m going to need the dragons den to help me buy all my books. XD)

I KNOW, RIGHT?! I have a serious addiction. I’m not even ashamed that I ask people to enable me every birthday / Christmas. (And thanks! I hadn’t heard of No Surrender Solider!)

Oh wow, thanks for compiling all these! I hadn’t even heard of most of them, so WOOHOO!! Book-buying binge before Christmas…

I’ve been sharing my book wishlist with everyone and anyone, so fingers crossed that I get a bunch of books this Christmas! Otherwise… it’ll be a post-Christmas book-buying binge for me! ;)

I already had two of these books on my must-read list, Vanessa, but I’ve added 3-4 more. I saw the cover of THESE BROKEN STARS on another site and it took my breath away. Love the dragon’s lair comparison to book piles around our houses.

NO SURRENDER SOLDIER is still on Netgalley until Jan. 18, the official release date. But if you’d rather read a print copy, e-mail me and I’ll get the request to my publicist. (Thanks for the mention, XD, whoever you are.)
